As a Member You have Government Representation at all 3 levels of Government
Few individual companies can make a difference but as a group you have a respected and powerful voice at all levels of government.
Locally, we meet with municipal governments. This past year we brought your concerns to them on topics such as the Development Cost Charges as well as other issues. We are continue to work with both the City of Abbotsford and Mission regarding current and ongoing concerns. Members were asked for their input in the new 2008 Green Building Code. CHBA BC is working for you on the Worksafe BC rates and regulations, the GST new housing rebates, with HPO in the process of raising the bar in your industry, and much more. Media attention is important to your Business.
The media increases awareness for your business and helps influence public opinion on issues facing your industry. We are working with the media to offer our members special advertising rates.
